Arts Council Policy: Internationalism

The Arts Council's actions are to

  • Expand opportunities for artists and arts organisations to work internationally, contributing to Englands role as a cultural world leader, by implementing our international policy
  • Enable Liverpool to present itself as a premier European city as Capital of Culture in 2008, providing long-term growth and sustainability for the arts by supporting regional, national and international partnerships
  • Contribute to early planning for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games 2012 and to the Beijing closing ceremony in 2008
