The following examples of indicators for reducing crime and fear of crime have been taken from Sustainable Community Strategies up to the end of 2007 and round 1-3 Local Area Agreements:

• Number of young people on specialist sport and cultural programmes contributing to a reduction in anti-social behaviour
• Indicators related to participation in culture and sport particularly for young people (see measures listed under improving life chances for children and young people or participation)
