Children and Young People

Reduce premature mortality rates and reduce inequalities in premature mortality rates

Provide positive opportunities for young people by becoming involved in Fire Service education / preventative schemes, contribute to community activities and increase opportunities for employment.

Healthier Communities and Older People

Culture, leisure and sport is recognised as contributing to all LAA core themes.

The fourth theme 'Economic Development and Enterprise' does not include any specific culture or sport indicators although cultural industries and culture led regeneration is recognised as contributing to economic development.
