Our purpose
Screen South is the film and media agency for the South of England. We aim to be a resource that helps people get their ideas off the ground, whether they want to make a short film; drama, documentary or animation; create exciting community filmmaking workshops with people of all ages; learn how to write successful scripts; find employment pathways into the film and TV industry; get support for training; set up a film festival or shoot a major movie in the South East. We promote our talent regionally, nationally and internationally, preserve our film heritage archive and find ways of presenting exciting film to new audiences.
