TSE were heavily involved in the development of governments Good Practice Guidance on Planning for Tourism.

Tourism Skills Network South East
Tourism South East (TSE), SEEDA and People 1st are part of the Tourism Skills Network South East, which aims to improve the skills of those working in the South EastҒs tourism industry and boost the regions economic competitiveness. The Network provides support to employers by building on current initiatives and existing research to ensure that training requirements are better understood and met by training providers at local and regional level.
The Network is based on the model of the highly successful Tourism Skills Networks in the South West and North West, and will take forward the recommendations of the Workforce Development Plan for Tourism and Culture in the South East. Sue Gill, Head of Skills and Training at TSE said: The Network will ensure a strong voice for tourism, which will influence mainstream training and skills development programmes at a regional and sub regional level.

The Tourism Alliance is the Voice of the Tourism Industry. It includes leading trade associations/trade bodies within the sector.  The purpose of the Tourism Alliance is to identify and develop policies and strategies to raise standards and promote quality within the industry and work with and lobby government on all key issues relevant to the growth and development of tourism and its contribution to the economy.
