Culture and Communities

The Culture and Communities Subgroup, serviced by Arts Council England, South East and chaired by Executive Director Felicity Harvest, was formed in March 2006. The Subgroup's terms of reference can be seen in full here.

The Subgroup aims to ensure the diverse communities and residents of South East England benefit from opportunities presented by the Olympic and Paralympic Games London 2012 in a measured, lasting and meaningful way.

The Subgroup currently has  33 members. Whilst membership is by invitation only, the group is keen to ensure a dialogue with its stakeholders. As such virtual membership has been established whereby interested parties will receive a call for Culture and Communities Sub Group agenda items and the minutes and papers from each meeting. To join as a virtual member of this group please email suzanne.kent@artscouncil.org.uk.

Minutes of the meetings will also be posted on this web page and at www.artscouncil.org.uk.
