Sustainable Communities

Welcome to the Sustainable Communities pages.  Sustainable communities are places where people want to live and work. Culture plays a huge role in making a place sustainable, and needs to be considered at every stage of community and housing development.

We've developed these pages to help you understand the maze of the current housing development agenda, and give you the information and tools to be able to understand and promote culture's contribution.

For the basics, please click our Sustainable Communities FAQ on the left hand menu. You can also find out more about Growth Areas on the left hand menu.
