Environment and Quality of Life Task Group

EQOL has been set up to put together principles and standards to ensure consistency and co- ordination in the delivery of environment and quality of life initiatives across the MKSM. The group's remit includes

  • developing guidance for the growth areas in relation to the provision of environmental and other quality of life infrastructure, and
  • promoting a consistent standard of provision for these aspects across the Sub-Region.

The group has a broad-based membership of senior representatives drawn from key national and regional organisations. Click here to see how EQOL fits in to the delivery structure.

The EQOL subject remit includes:

  • culture and sport
  • green infrastructure, e.g. biodiversity, woodlands, landscape, the historic environment, urban green space
  • place making
  • quality of life infrastructure e.g, cultural infrastructure
